Instagram will no longer allow third-party apps to use Instagram basic display API for authentication. The third-party apps that require authentication can use Facebook Login instead.
In simple words, FACEBOOK doesn't want third-party apps to have Instagram as an option to sign in/ sign up. And so, we're removing this option from our app.
We're answering some of the questions to help you with the process.
Will I be able to add my Instagram account to Crowdfire?
Yes, you can sign up using email, Twitter or Facebook and then add your Instagram account.
What Crowdfire's Instagram related features would I be able to use?
You will be able to use Instagram scheduling and Instagram Analytics for Business and Creator accounts.
I only have my Instagram account connected to Crowdfire. How do I log in?
You can log in using your registered email address. If you've not set a password for your account, you can reset the password for your registered email.
I have other Social networks connected, how do I enable login via those accounts?
You can enable login via Twitter and Facebook. However, to login first, follow the above process of resetting the password and log in using the email.
Now, follow these steps:
- Go to settings.
- Under the CHANNELS go the Twitter/ Facebook account you want to enable login through.
- Tap on enable login option.
